A small group of us attended the SLO-CDS Fall Fling, Saturday & Sunday, September 6 & 7 at Golden Hills Farm in Paso Robles. Our group included Laura Werner, D.V.M. riding Cedric, Nicole Rodriguez riding Romeo, Oni Rovatti riding Brillante, and Teri Lacey riding Dylan. We all reached our goals for the weekend and went home with homework and a positive feeling about all of the horses.

 

November 8 & 9 we went to Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara for the Win Fall Dressage. The weekend started out nearly perfect and then. . . the wind came. Sunday was a true test for horse and rider as the winds picked up and the arena letters began to blow across the arena. Oni Rovatti brought her andalusian mare Brillante, Adriane Martinez-Navarro rode the stunning gelding, Celtico III, and Teri rode her handsome hanoverain gelding Dylan as well as the dutch warmblood Renny. It was a successful weekend and despite the wind we all had a great time.

 

Next outing will most likely be after the first of the year.
